Is this a good city for LGBT expatriates? Why or why not?
Yes. LGBT is very accepted- sort of. "Fafafines" (essentially transvestites in Samoan culture) are widely accepted, but openly non-heterosexual actions are not ever seen. Generally so long as you don't advertise your sexuallity people would know, but otherwise not care. - Feb 2018
