What types of jobs do most expatriate spouses/partners have? Locally based or telecommuting? Full-time or part-time? Can you comment on local salary scales?
The unemployment rate is high. It's currently at 7.3%. Bilingual expats will have more opportunities to find jobs but local employers would likely hire a Dutch citizen before an expat. The U.S. Consulate and the U.S. Embassy have limited openings at various times. - Oct 2014
