Amsterdam - Post Report Question and Answers

Would someone with physical disabilities have difficulties living in this city?

This is a walking, biking and local transpiration society. It would be difficult to live here with a physical disability but scooters and small electric cars used by handicapped persons are permitted on the bike paths and are prevalent. Stairs and brick/cobblestone streets would be the biggest impediments for persons of limited mobility. - Oct 2014

Not too many. The trams/trains/buses are accessible. Some of the older sections of town might be difficult to maneuver with the cobblestones, but that's all I can think of. - Jun 2014
