Watersports equipment, art supply, and any food supply you can't live without. Bring as much as you can of anything you might need. Even if you don't use it yourself, you'll certainly meet someone who is looking for it. If you know you'll have a garden area, bring garden tools or negotiate to buy them off the previous occupant. Same for kayak or (wind, kite, wake..) boards, as they can be tricky to import. If you know how to play an instrument, bring it too: Lots of people play ukulele. - Apr 2014
