Ramallah - Post Report Question and Answers

How much of the local language do you need for daily living? Are local language classes/tutors available and affordable?

English is spoken everywhere in Ramallah. Arabic can help, but if your Arabic isn't strong, the conversation moves to English immediately. This is good if you're not there to learn Arabic, but bad if you want an "immersion" experience. There are good teachers for Arabic in town and you can learn in individual lessons or in a group situation. - Dec 2013
