Is this a good city for LGBT expatriates? Why or why not?
There was a Gay Pride parade this year. There is no violence against LGBT people, but this is a very religious society. I have found they are pretty adamant that it is a sin. - Jul 2021

Probably not. No one here seems to talk about gays and lesbians. It's a very small, incestuous, overtly religious place - there are no secrets here. So I've not noticed any hostility, nor have I noticed acceptance. - Apr 2008
