Are local buses, trams, trains or taxis safe and affordable?
Yes, they are just woefully inadequate for one of the largest cities in the US. It's pathetic. - Jun 2026
Whenever I have to get downtown, I drive to a station and take the train in. It seems affordable, and is fun for the kids. Buses are everywhere, with a lot of people using them. The system seems pretty extensive. - Mar 2008
