What are some typical ways to socialize, either with local people or with other expatriates? Are there groups or clubs that you can recommend?
Social life centers on eating out, pub scene, visiting homes of locals, movies, malls, sporting events, car boot sales (a cross between a flea market and garage sale). Newmarket has the largest dance club in that part of the country (capacity: 3,000), so there is quite a nightlife for such a small town. - Mar 2013
