Um, no. - Feb 2018

Yes...online shopping. - Nov 2016

There are some nice baskets, textiles, and handmade furniture, as well as art (paintings, etc.), but this is not a "shopping post," like Pakistan or Thailand. - Oct 2016

Nothing here. Overpriced food is what will cost you (remember, no COLA despite the high costs and the black market exchange rate--we have 6.6 pounds to the dollar, everyone else to include the LE Staff get 11 pounds to the dollar or more). You may spend it on vacations though. - Mar 2016

Virtually nothing. - Jun 2015

Nothing. This is the space between the Arab world and Africa, so you can't get anything of note that isn't from China or Kenya. - Mar 2015

Local art (ask the LES staff to show you the hidden gems, don't go to the main overpriced places). - Apr 2014

Local food is fabulous. They don't do much in the way of crafts, but you can find some local hand-made things. - Apr 2010

Artwork, travel. - May 2009
