There are some nice baskets, textiles, and handmade furniture, as well as art (paintings, etc.), but this is not a "shopping post," like Pakistan or Thailand. - Oct 2016
Nothing here. Overpriced food is what will cost you (remember, no COLA despite the high costs and the black market exchange rate--we have 6.6 pounds to the dollar, everyone else to include the LE Staff get 11 pounds to the dollar or more). You may spend it on vacations though. - Mar 2016
