What kind of car do you recommend bringing to post, given the terrain, availability of parts, burglary/carjacking risks, etc.? What kind of car do you advise not to bring?
Insurance is extremely hard to get if you bring an American car, and if you do get it, be prepared to pay a lot! It's also very hard to pass. Everyone I know who has done it seems to regret it! - Aug 2006
