There are a few options, more if you speak French. A French woman teaches swimming, a French sports coach does girls sports camp and boys soccer, and some kids do horseback riding at a local stable. Tennis lessons are available from at the Racing Club (also taught in French). - Aug 2021

There are soccer clubs around town. There is also a French-run horseback riding club that specializes in teaching kids. - Apr 2019

The school sometimes has some after school programs like tae kwon do, and there is a tennis court here, but if your kids are into large scale organized competitive sports, this is probably not the post for you. - May 2016

Sort of. Parents do their best to keep our kids busy. Generally, the assignments are only about 2 years long so most parents figure the lack of activities will not affect the kids too much. Admittedly, teenagers seem to suffer the most as there are no malls, theaters, or any such social outlets for them. Most families send their kids home over the summer as there is not much for them to do. CLO does a great job of putting together a summer camp for kids and some kids stay but the heat and the lack of activities usually prompts parents to send their kids back to stay with grandparents etc. - Apr 2014

Not really. There is a baseball league for 8-12 year olds in the spring and fall. The kids have a great time. - Aug 2011
