What do people who suffer from environmental or food allergies need to know?
Food allergies would be very tough here when it comes to restaurants. There are gluten-free options in stores, and one gluten-free bakery in town. My kids have struggled with environmental allergies here, for reasons I can't quite pin down. Two of my kids now take daily allergy meds (when they did not before we got here) due to recurring hives. - Feb 2026
