Kingston - School Report Question and Answers

What is the climate for students who identify as ethnic, race/racial minorities or religious minorities at this school? Are there resources they can draw upon? Have your children had any experiences in this area?

We don't have any experience with this, no. The school population is quite diverse, but does not reflect what Jamaica looks like. Jamaica is like 95% African-descent, and the school is probably less than half black students and teachers. But it is nice that there is not one country or race that has an overwhelming percentage (not locals, not Americans, not white or black, etc.). I don't know about resources. - Sep 2023
