How is the overall communication between teachers and parents, and the administration and parents? How is communication facilitated?
Communication is definitely a dance. There are weekly newsletters from each level of school and core teachers usually send out a weekly update. If you read everything then you will know all that is going on but it can be overwhelming. - May 30, 2017
"A" Depending on the teacher, but usually it's great. - Jan 4, 2016
A: Excellent. This is by far the best school we've attended with regards to communication. The school has a portal set up that is similar to facebook, and teachers post daily information and even photos of what the class is doing. I have easily contacted teachers during school days via e-mail, and there are the parent/teacher meetings, reports sent home (actual paragraphs written about your child's progress, not just a checkmark), and monthly coffee mornings. - Mar 4, 2014
B. The teachers give out their email addresses to the parents. They blog about their classes, on their own time. My son's teacher did it about weekly. I didn't get the level of communication regarding my son's learning that I would have preferred, but I didn't ask either. - Aug 6, 2013
