Are there any unusual problems with insects or other infestations in housing?

We had ants, which traps took care of fairly quickly. You'll see the occasional roach or spider even if you keep your residence clean. - Dec 12, 2017

Mosquitoes are the main worry, with endemic Dengue fever. Don't forget to bring mosquito spray with DEET. In the countryside during wet season, beware of fleas, ticks, and leeches. - Dec 13, 2011
