Are there any particular mental health issues that tend to crop up at post, such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter blues)?
The security environment is getting tighter, and folks who think this is just another EUR post are disappointed it's more Asian and NEA-like than EUR, but it's still a nice place to live. - Oct 19, 2017
Whenever there is a terrorist attack people get amped up a bit. Other than that, I'd say no. There are mountains for skiing only a few hours a way in the winter and the beaches in the summer are top notch. If you need to get away for a bit it's easy and inexpensive. - Sep 21, 2017
It entirely depends upon your ability accept the terrorism risks. Some people have a lot of trouble accepting that terrorism happens here but the risks can be mitigated. Those people tend to shut themselves in and have a lot of trouble here. Get out of the city, see the country. This is a wonderful place and if you accept that you can thrive here. - Jun 8, 2017
