What is the availability of international schools? What has been your general experience with them, if any?
I don't have kids but I know that that several families I'm familiar with send their kids to the American International School of Cape Town. There are also a number of local private schools that might appeal to some families. - Oct 1, 2017
Can't speak to it personally but I have heard the school is quite good. - May 13, 2014
Most Consulate students attend the American International School of Cape Town (www.AISCT.org). It has about 350 students in K-12 and a preschool program. Average class size is 12. Instruction is in English and they offer a choice of French or Spanish as a second-language, starting in first grade. The school is located on a lovely piece of property that was an old wine estate, then a convent school, now AISCT. There is a pool, tennis court, basketball court and lots of "running" room. - Aug 26, 2013
