What is the air quality like at post (good/moderate/bad)? Are there seasonal air quality issues? Does the air quality have an impact on health?

Pretty good. In the dry season (June through September) the dust can get bad. I haven't felt affected by bad air quality though! - Dec 13, 2017
Air quality fluctuates. There's lots of dust, sometimes debris from burning (either for warmth or disposal), and some seasonal plant-related problems. I haven't found the air quality to impact my daily life. - Jan 25, 2017
Though the air looks clean, according to the med unit, the air in Kigali can sometimes be 3x worse than the worse air quality in the U.S. due to lack of controls over emissions and all the motos. - Apr 5, 2016
Air quality is generally good, but in the dry season it can be dusty and those with allergies should come prepared. - Oct 16, 2014

Most of the time it is good. During the dry season it is dusty and hot. - Jul 28, 2011
Air quality is pretty poor during the day in the capital, but at night and outside of town there are zero problems. - Oct 20, 2010
Good, there is some garbage burning but not often and not much and the rain takes care of anything that gets too bad. - Jan 23, 2010
