Tijuana

Would someone with physical disabilities have difficulties living in this city?

Yes - sidewalks are terrible and many places do not accommodate those with limitations south of the border. - Nov 5, 2017
Probably. This is not a pedestrian friendly city and not much accommodation is made for wheelchairs. Sidewalks are not well maintained, elevators don't always work... - May 31, 2015
Yes. There are no requirements for buildings to be ADA compliant and side walks are often full of potholes or non existent. - Mar 25, 2015
Yes. There are few smooth sidewalks; but it hardly matters as you drive everywhere. - Apr 30, 2014
Yes . - Feb 15, 2014
Not at all a walkable city. - Apr 4, 2011
I just got off of crutches and it was a nightmare. You need a car. Walking more than a few blocks is impossible and possibly dangerous. - Mar 5, 2011
Tijuana is not a very friendly location for persons with handicaps. It is hard enough to walk around in the pot hole-laden streets, missing concrete slabs on sidewalks, etc., without some sort of handicap. - Dec 29, 2010
This is a car town and the sidewalks can be in bad condition and ramps are few and far between. - Aug 11, 2010
Tijuana is not really set up for people with disabilities. - Mar 11, 2008
