Copenhagen

Is this a good city for LGBT expatriates? Why or why not?

This is the first country to recognize same-sex unions back in 1989. In 2012 it was changed to same-sex marriage. There is a huge LGBT community. The embassy has participated in Pride Week for the past couple of years. I'd say it's a pretty good city for an LGBT expat. - Jul 9, 2016
Absolutely! Possibly the most tolerant city in the world, literally. - May 1, 2014
Possibly the best one in the world. - Feb 8, 2014
Absolutely. Denmark was the first country to legally recognize gay marraige. - Aug 7, 2011
Yes, it is an EXCELLENT city for gay & lesbians. Beyond being considered equal in the society (pretty much without a second thought), there is a large GLBT event in Copenhagen each year (in the fall, I beliieve). - Jul 22, 2011
