Are local sports classes and/or activities available for kids?

Through the schools, yes. There are others, but transport is always the challenge. There is swimming, piano, Kumon, horseback riding, some crafts, but you are going to have to work out how to get them there. - Jul 8, 2016

Most sports programs are through the local schools. You can also sign up for swimming lessons at local pools, at least one of which is indoors and available year 'round. Kids can take squash, tennis, or horseriding lessons for a fee. - Jun 6, 2010
