What are some typical ways to socialize, either with local people or with other expatriates? Are there groups or clubs that you can recommend?

BADASSN is the local expat diving club, and there are historical societies that do hikes, hashes and sailing clubs. If you like the ocean and water sports you will never be bored; if you're not that into them, you will have a rough time. - Jul 11, 2016

There are touristy spots, local nightclubs and local rum shops/bars, but this is a small island with accordingly limited options. Much entertaining is done in homes and surrounds families. Locals are welcoming and accepting of expats. - Dec 20, 2010
