Can you save money?

Yes, if you're reasonable. If you come with State, the COLA, differential, and language pay turn into a 50% salary bump. We are a family of six, don't travel much, cook from scratch most nights, and don't buy lots of parmesan cheese, so we're able to save about half of my husband's take-home pay. If you don't have extra pay incentives, it would be harder. - Jan 29, 2013
